In the wake of July 2005 bombings that ripped through London, UK police recorded more than 1,200 Islamophobic incidents across the country ranging from verbal abuse to one murder. Most recently, following Mr. Straw's remarks, Islamophobic incidents are surging across the UK, one of the most ethnically diverse countries in the world.
