Ziplip is shutting down their email service June 30 rather than submit to new US requirments to allow government snooping on Email servers. We are therefore moving our email to overseas based Hushmail.
Our new address is WSQTradio (at) hushmail.com
For obvious reasons we will not use any US snooping compliant Email servvice like Hotmail or Yahoo. We advise others to do the same for all email accounts used for any semisecure matters. Serious security requires PGP or better encryption on both ends. Still better is to limit email to nonarrestable matters only, using security to foil police general intel gathering. US corporate servers should be limited to listserv subscriptions and other such things where the info is already in the public domain.
Email servers based overseas or run out of noncomplying small servers are the safe way to go in the world of TIA and Gonzaless torture memos. FUCK the FBI!

Here's what Ziplip is saying:
ziplip secure services
Thank you for using ZipLip’s free secure mail service. We appreciate your patronage and wish to inform you that we will be discontinuing our service on June 30th, 2005. For various reasons, including new U.S. legislation which significantly impacts the individual’s privacy rights, ZipLip is no longer able to provide its free secure email services with any reasonable assurance of privacy and security, particularly in the context of a hosted service. We will revisit the service issue when our legislature reinstates our privacy rights.
Please make the necessary arrangements to use another Webmail service before June 30th. We are unable to offer any data migration services. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused.
