This Week In Palestine - Ilan Pappé on the Crisis In Zionism
7 hours 20 minutes ago
At a time when we are witnessing an Israeli-perpetrated genocide, and the International community fiddles while Gaza literally burns, we need to examine how this came to happen. What led to the horror we are witnessing in Palestine today? When you ask that question, the Israeli response is that the Hamas raid on Israel and the taking of hostages on October 7th is the cause for Israel's massive retaliation. But the facts go much deeper. Today we turn to the eminent Israeli historian, Ilan Pappé, to put this horror in perspective. The presentation you will hear was delivered at the University of California in Berkeley last Fall, shortly after the October 7th event, and is edited to meet time restrictions.

Taylor Report - Belgium accuses Stanislaus Mbonampeka to show support for Kagame's dictatorship.
2 days 7 hours ago
Stanislaus Mbonampeka, 82, was a Rwandan lawyer who defended people accused of involvement with the RPF, the army that entered Rwanda in October of 1990, he was also a founding member of one of the major opposition parties seeking democratic change in the years leading up to war and massacres in 1994. So why is Belgium charging him now, 30 years after the '94 events? It would appear there is a new unnamed crime: failure to support and embrace the RPF led by the one-man ruler, Paul Kagame.
Patrice Mbonyumutwa provide a necessary outline of the case.
